Writing Google AdWords ads is one of those things that seems very simple, but somehow still takes a long time to get right.

In this Shark Bite, Andrew gives you his blueprint on how to write great AdWords ads for local businesses.

In order to get it right, you need to tackle the four different components of AdWords ads according to the type of business you are and who you intend your audience to be.

The four components that go into every single ad are:

  • Headline: Learn how you can get the appropriate emotional response from your audience rather than just trying to squeeze in your keywords.
  • Description: The whole purpose of your description is to stand out. Andrew talks about a few ways to do this.
  • Display URL: Make sure you include one of your keywords in a way that it makes sense in relation to your domain.
  • Landing Page: It is important that you link your customers to a page that is relevant to your ad.

Thank you for watching this week’s Shark Bite. Now that you know how to write a great AdWords ad, make sure you don’t mess up by making one of the 8 most common ad writing mistakes. See you next time!
